About the role This is a fixed term full-time role until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension based in Canberra/Tuggeranong. The Clinical Lead is a key leadership position within the centres, and will provide oversight for the coordination and delivery of clinical services and ensuring that day-to-day clinical work is carried out to the highest standard to effectively meet the needs of young people and their families. Advanced clinical skills including clinical triage, assessment, delivery of evidence based, focussed psychological therapies and support of young people at risk. Demonstrated understanding of key issues in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems including ability to effectively engage with young people and their family, friends or carers. Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in continuous quality improvement and development and delivery of effective clinical processes that contribute to the clinical governance of a service. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Tuggeranong work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.
