About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our well-regarded Government Advisory team. Working in a collaborative and high‑performing environment, this role plays a critical part in the delivery of complex, high‑profile work for a Commonwealth Government agency. This is a full-time role suited to someone looking to develop their career as a Paralegal. You will provide high-level support to lawyers throughout the lifecycle of a matter by: Triaging and reviewing incoming matters; Managing matters through our matter management system, including uploading documents and maintaining accurate records; Assisting with the preparation of briefs, legal documents, letters, case summaries and other correspondence; Sourcing and liaising with experts and external stakeholders as required; Coordinating and managing deadlines, filings and other procedural requirements. About you You enjoy taking ownership of your work and pride yourself on being a reliable and proactive team member. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are motivated by working on complex and meaningful matters. You will also bring the following skills and experience: Proven experience as a Paralegal or Senior Legal Assistant , ideally within a high‑volume litigation practice; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels; A proactive approach and strong organisational skills; The ability to produce accurate, high-quality work with a keen eye for detail; A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (experience with iManage/Filesite and Aderant Expert is highly regarded).
