This is a hands‑on, senior advisory role, ideal for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys partnering closely with leaders on complex people matters and delivering practical, solutions‑focused HR support. The opportunity reporting into a broader People & Culture function, you’ll work alongside leaders, managers, and the wider HR team to deliver consistent, compliant HR advice across employee relations, workforce operations, and people governance. The role also has the opportunity to work and lead on people related projects. You’ll play a key role in supporting leaders to manage their teams confidently, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and people‑related projects. What you’ll be doing Providing senior‑level HR advice across employee relations, performance management, and organisational matters Managing ER casework including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters Advising on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and industrial instruments Contribute to and lead people projects Supporting HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding Contributing to policy development, governance, and workforce initiatives Partnering closely with HR and recruitment colleagues to ensure consistent people practices About you You’re a trusted HR adviser with strong judgement, a calm approach, and the confidence to navigate complex and sensitive matters. You bring a practical mindset, strong stakeholder skills, and a genuine commitment to best‑practice people outcomes. You’ll bring: Significant experience in a senior HR advisory or HR Business Partner role Strong ER/IR capability, including case management and conflict resolution Sound knowledge of employment law and workplace compliance Excellent communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Experience in education is beneficial but not essential.
