AMA (WA) The AMA (WA) is the peak organisation representing registered medical practitioners and medical students in Western Australia. As the peak industry body for doctors, the AMA (WA) is the leading and trusted voice for better healthcare. We represent, support and advocate doctors, patients and the community. We are active on all matters that relate to the standard of health care and provide a broad range of services. The Role: At its core, this is a business development and relationship management role focused on growing advertising revenue across AMA (WA)’s media and communications channels. The successful candidate will work closely with advertisers, sponsors and partners across print, digital and event platforms, while delivering exceptional customer service and building long term relationships that drive repeat business. While advertising or media experience is beneficial, we are far more interested in finding someone who is commercially minded, proactive, confident building relationships and comfortable identifying and converting opportunities. This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to grow your skills across advertising, sponsorship and partnerships within a supportive and collaborative team environment. Duties include: Manage relationships with advertisers, sponsors and partners across AMA (WA)’s media and event portfolio Grow advertising and sponsorship revenue across print, digital and event channels Proactively identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities Manage the advertising pipeline and conduct targeted sales outreach and follow-up Build, maintain and retain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence Coordinate bundled sponsor and advertiser offerings Promote event related advertising opportunities to new and existing clients Coordinate bookings, artwork collection, approvals, invoicing and campaign delivery Ensure all advertising is delivered on time and meets agreed quality standards Work closely with internal teams to deliver campaigns and provide reporting on partner campaign outcomes Assist with the development of advertising packages, pricing and commercial opportunities Prepare pipeline reports, sales forecasts and revenue tracking Maintain effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers Essential to the role: Strong customer service and relationship management skills Commercially minded with confidence in sales, business development and follow-up Persuasive communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Highly organised, detail oriented, and deadline driven Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and performance metrics Collaborative, adaptable and solutions focused Experience in business development, account management, partnerships, advertising, media sales, events, recruitment or a similar client-facing role Demonstrated ability to meet targets, manage client relationships and contribute to revenue growth Experience coordinating campaigns, projects or client deliverables across multiple stakeholders is desirable Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, CRM systems or reporting tools is desirable WHAT'S ON OFFER: Flexible working arrangements Nedlands Location Ability to qualify for an additional 3 days of leave over the Christmas period A range of exclusive discounts and offers with select local businesses.
