VERVE Fitness is one of Australia's fastest-growing commercial and home gym equipment brands. Our vision is to inspire people to Be Greater. Since 2017 we've completed thousands of commercial gym fitouts while building a rapidly growing ecommerce and retail business alongside it. We're launching in the US in 2026 and are working toward a path to $150m revenue over the next four years. We need a Website Manager to own vervefitness.com / vervefitness.com.au end-to-end; Shopify build, on site SEO, AEO, PR, earned media, articles, interviews, product bundles, landing pages, product detail pages, and the overall on-site experience. Your job is to make vervefitness.com a world class premium ecommerce store. The kind of site that gets cited as the example. This is a hands on role. Not a brief-and-delegate role. You'll be inside Shopify, Google Search Console, GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Yotpo, Linkby, and Claude Code every day. You'll write product copy, build PDPs, build bundles, ship landing pages, optimise on site AEO . SEO, brief PR campaigns, and audit page speed regressions in the same week. You'll use AI tools daily to multiply your output. Claude Code, Claude Design, ChatGPT, and a stack of custom internal skills are already part of how the team operates. You do not need to know every tool already. You do need to learn fast. What this role is NOT Not a paid media role. We have a Performance Marketing Specialist and a paid media agency for that. Not a graphic design role. Not a brand role. Brand sign-off sits with the company owners. Not a brief other people role. You ship the work yourself. Not a strategy only seat. The Head of Marketing owns strategy and budget you own execution on site. Why this is a strong opportunity You'll own the entire on site experience for a premium brand in a category with real customer passion You'll have direct line to the Head of Marketing and the CEO, your work moves the numbers visibly You'll build the US storefront and own the AU site at the same time You'll inherit a marketing team already running AI assisted workflows and custom Claude Code tools Genuine career runway; this role grows with the business as we scale toward $150m You'll get to make a real premium brand look and feel premium The reality you're walking into Our previous web and marketing lead has moved on. The site has shipped a lot of new product pages and landing pages over the last 12 months, but on site conversion rate has softened. Traffic is below where it should be. Some PDPs need a rebuild. Some need launching for the first time. The US store has just gone live and is in the early optimisation phase. If shipping site improvements, watching the conversion rate move, and seeing your PR placements get picked up sounds like the work you want to do, you'll probably enjoy this role. If you want to live in strategy decks and brief other people to execute, this isn't the right seat. Technical SEO chops; site architecture, internal linking, schema, Core Web Vitals literacy, redirect mapping Curiosity about AEO; how to be discoverable in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, not just blue links Comfortable with AI tooling; you treat it as leverage, not a threat Strong project management; you're juggling Shopify, SEO, PR and content production in the same week You execute You learn quickly You ship Bonus points for Fitness, equipment, or premium consumer products experience Shopify Plus operational depth Hands-on Liquid editing or Shopify theme development experience Experience with US ecommerce or running a US storefront Existing journalist or media relationships in fitness, business, lifestyle or trade press Strong familiarity with Claude Code or custom AI workflows Experience with CRO testing tools (VWO, Convert, Shopify native A/B testing) A sense of humour Tools you'll work in daily Shopify, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs or Semrush, Linkby, Yotpo, Canva (light use), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Monday.com, Teams.
