Seeking the services of a Disability Support Worker, ideally with a nursing background, looking for casual employment. The client is a 52 y.o male, who lives in a private residence in Grovedale. The client has a spinal cord injury. As part of a small team of carers, your duties will include: All aspects of personal care, meal preparation and meal assistance, hoisting, giving medication, feeding pets, laundry and accompanying client to social and medical appointments. Client enjoys conversation, and has a broad range of interests. He would prefer female carers, but males may apply. Must be flexible, reliable and caring. Must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and have excellent communication skills. Both AM and PM shifts available, including weekends. Hours : 0800-1430 0900-1200 (every second day) 1400-1930.
