We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager with solid industry knowledge across the Resources & Industrial sector. This role requires someone who brings proven sales capability, strong commercial acumen and an established network of industry relationships. About the Role This role will lead national sales growth across the Resources & Industrial markets by driving customer acquisition,retention, and cross-selling across the full RelyOn and Competency Training services portfolio. You will own market strategy, key account management, and commercial performance for these sectors. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager – Utilities & Renewables and other Commercial leaders to ensure coordinated national coverage and consistent customer engagement. Responsibilities include: Lead and develop the Resources and Industrial Markets Account Management Team. Own the full RelyOn and Competency Training service portfolio for the Resources & Industrial markets. Coordinate sales and account management planning with the National Sales Manager – Utilities & Renewables and other Commercial leaders. Identify and implement sales, marketing and BD initiatives in collaboration with others, including new service offerings. Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities. Develop customer quotes and proposals. Client account management. Oversee enrolment, scheduling and invoicing. Revenue and gross margin management and performance against budget. Skills and attributes Strong leadership and operational management skills. Excellent client engagement and communication skills. Ability to lead solution-based selling across multiple service lines. Effective management of resources and budgets against programming constraints. Critical thinking and collaboration skills to solve problems. High attention to detail, process control and compliance. Knowledge and experience Experience in management, successfully leading and growing business. Sales and client account management experience in the Resources and/or Industrial sectors. Experience driving cross-functional collaboration across geographically dispersed teams. Commercial acumen and experience in contracts, financial analysis, and reporting. Prior experience in an RTO or Training Services organisation preferred but not essential. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in relevant field preferred but not essential.
