Our client, a Leader in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry currently have a vacant position available for a All round Store / Freezer Forklift Operator to join their team located in YENNORA. if you are unable to work in Cold Temperature Environments please do not apply Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential. Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands on role assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing , loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse. Shifts will initially run (Monday to Friday) 6 AM to 2 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM and 2 PM to 10 PM flexibility is required as there may be overtime and weekend work when needed and where volume changes the start times may vary. IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants Pay Rate will be $39.63 per hour plus applicable penalty rates (includes Cold Allowance) for AM shift. Pay Rate will be $44.15 per hour plus applicable penalty rates (includes Cold Allowance) for PM shift. The role involves; but will not be limited to: Operation of Forklifts- High Reach Operation of Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks Stock rotation, putaways and replenishment Picking and packing orders Usage of pallet wrapping machines Loading and Unloading Trucks General warehousing duties Ad hoc duties as required To be considered for this role, you MUST : Hold a current LF Forklift Licence Previous experience on Toyota forklifts Advantageous Have minimum 2 years experience within a similar industry or role Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and putaways a MUST Moderate communication skills both written and verbally Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting Have your OWN reliable transport Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary Be reliable and punctual RF Scanning (preferred but not essential) As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsite Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
