DAY/Afternoon/Night SHIFTS – Freezer Forklift Operator (High Reach & Double Deep) – Smithfield Location Our client is a leading company in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry which is currently seeking experienced and reliable Storepersons / Forklift Operators to join their team for Shift operation. Location of work will be in Pemulwuy or Smithfield facility will require flexibility for either location. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment . You’ll need to be confident operating High Reach & Double deep Forklifts , especially CROWN brand , and working in cold/freezer conditions (-28°C) . Shifts & Pay Rates: Day Shift: 06:00 am – 14:00 pm - $37.50 including Cold allowance OT Afternoon Shift: 16:00 PM – 00:00 AM - $ 39.59 Cold allowance OT Night Shift: 22:00 PM – 06:00 AM - $43.82 Cold allowance OT Key Responsibilities: High Reach & Double Deep Forklift Operation (CROWN brand – Double Deep up to 9 bays high) Freezer work (-28°C environment) Picking & Packing orders Replenishment and stock rotation Loading and unloading trucks Use of pallet wrapping machines and EPJs General warehousing and ad hoc duties To be considered, you MUST: Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence Have High Reach Forklift experience (CROWN, Double Deep – 12 months minimum ) Be confident with 7–9 bays high racking Have 2 years’ experience in a similar role/industry Be physically fit – heavy lifting involved Have your own reliable transport Be punctual, reliable, and flexible with shift availability Freezer/cold room experience is highly regarded RF scanning experience preferred (not essential) All shortlisted candidates must complete a Pre-Employment Medical , including a Drug and Alcohol Test , conducted by our on-site Occupational Nurse during the interview process.
