Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Technical Sales Estimator to join their team in a key role supporting Sales, Engineering and Operations. About the Role This is a diverse and hands-on position responsible for reviewing project requirements, interpreting technical drawings, developing solution concepts and preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure solutions are practical, commercially viable and aligned with project requirements. This role would suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys problem solving, stakeholder engagement and working within a fast-paced project environment. Key Responsibilities Review project RFQs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation Interpret engineering and architectural drawings Develop practical and manufacturable solution concepts Prepare detailed estimates including materials, labour and supplier costs Liaise with Sales, Engineering and Operations teams throughout the quoting process Identify potential technical, commercial or scheduling risks early Maintain estimating templates, costing data and proposal documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives across estimating and project delivery Ensure safety and compliance remain central to all activities About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing or a related discipline Minimum 3 years' experience in technical estimating, applications engineering or similar within construction or manufacturing Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings Solid understanding of fabrication, assembly or construction-related processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and strong organisational ability Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines A proactive, solutions-focused and team-oriented attitude Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement Desirable Experience Exposure to CAD software for review and basic modelling Experience with engineered or customised construction products Knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes of Practice Experience using ERP or CRM systems What's on Offer Opportunity to join a growing and innovative business Collaborative and supportive team culture Diverse and technically interesting projects Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement Long-term career development opportunities Apply Now If you are a technically minded estimator looking for your next opportunity within the construction or engineered products sector, we would like to hear from you.
