CNC Laser machine operator wanted for ongoing position in modern workshop at Darra, starting as a casual with a view to permanent transition! From $36 to $40/hr shift allowance, negotiable based on experience level Day shift 5am to 1.30pm with early finish on Fridays Afternoon shift 1.30pm to 10pm Metal work experience ideal Forklift licence required Factory Hand / Trainee Laser Operators wanted, some experience required but further training will be provided! Essential · CNC operating skills · Current Forklift licence · Possess some metal work experience (cleaning, de-burring, etc.) · Good verbal and written communication skills · Ability and willingness to learn other duties · Strong teamwork and ability to build good rapport with colleagues · Capable of performing physical manual handling tasks as needed Desirable · Turret Punch Machine operating knowledge · Background in Sheet Metal Trade (or similar) · Experience operating a Laser Profile cutter · Skills or willingness to learn sheet metal working tasks · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail · Proactive mindset and a commitment to a ONE TEAM culture · Ability to adapt and collaborate to meet customer expectations · Safety-first approach in the workplace · Open to continuous learning and improvement In return, you will be rewarded with real career development & ongoing training!
