Our Team is known for our innovation, performance, and commitment to excellence. Our media presence plays a crucial role in shaping our brand image and engaging with our passionate fanbase. We’re looking for a dynamic Communications Officer to drive our Media Strategy, support our Brand and amplify our Voice both on and off the track. Position Overview: As the Media and Visual Communications Officer for the Team, you will be the driving force behind our media reach, creativity, strategic thinking and brand positioning. You’ll craft compelling narratives, manage media relations, creating fantastic visual stories and ensure our Team shines in the spotlight. The perfect candidate is an allrounder that also can specialise in videography, editing, graphic design, content creation and social media coordination. Possibly you are a Media Super person, who has a passion for motorsport! Key Responsibilities: · Coordinate & Implement the Media & Marketing strategy annually. · Create compelling videography stories (write scripts/copy/production timings) of the Race Team and Team Partners supporting the wider commercial Teams’ requirements. · Creation of content ideas and social media strategy (creating unique compelling visual, audio and word content). · Produce video content & deliver on Partner video requirements. · Create and pitch ideas to motorsport and traditional media. · Prepare and issue approved media releases, associated materials & race reports to media. · Managing social media strategies, scheduling, and tracking performance across all channels to provide monthly reports. · Confident in public speaking, presenting and interviewing our Race personnel. · Assist in scheduling Driver interviews for Radio, TV, Press and Supercars Television. · Maintain database of key media contacts and general information for media. · Manage season and event launches, and major announcements. · Liaise with event promoters to plan and implement media activities. · Responsible to create new video content and drive social media traffic. · Supporting the development and maintenance of relevant social media accounts, staying updated with current trends and best practices. · Attend all Supercars rounds & events throughout the season. Our ideal candidate will possess: · Experience: A tertiary qualification in, or substantial professional experience in communications, digital media or similar field with detail of relevant skills and projects; · Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for great visual storytelling. Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and media relations. · Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the media landscape an industry best-practice.
