Full Time / 36 hours per week / 9 day fortnight Salary: From $111,401 plus Superannuation Position Brief - Senior Leadership Development Partner Shape leadership across the City Join the City of Gold Coast’s Chief People Office and play a key role in building leadership capability across one of Australia’s largest local governments. As a Leadership Development Partner, you will design, deliver and embed practical learning experiences that strengthen leadership, support career growth, and contribute to a high-performing organisation. About the role In this role, you will partner with leaders and teams to deliver impactful leadership development programs that align to organisational priorities and future workforce needs. You’ll bring a strong focus on practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that build capability and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. What you’ll do Design and deliver engaging leadership development programs, workshops and learning solutions (face-to-face, virtual and online) Partner with business areas to identify capability needs and translate them into practical learning initiatives Provide coaching, guidance and advice to leaders and employees on leadership development and capability uplift Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes Contribute to building a high-performing culture by embedding leadership frameworks and development opportunities across the organisation Ensure all learning initiatives align with organisational policies, frameworks and legislative requirements What you bring Credible leadership experience Experience designing and delivering leadership development, training or capability programs Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels A practical mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into fit-for-purpose learning solutions Experience using data and feedback to evaluate and improve program effectiveness Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Leadership or equivalent experience Great to have: Background or exposure to neuroscience-informed learning Accreditation in Gallup Clifton Strengths (or similar strengths-based methodologies) Be part of shaping the Gold Coast’s future The Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
