The role will manage, deliver a diverse program of events across Walyalup | Fremantle with leading events as part of the FAC and Fremantle Festivals public programs. In collaboration with Operational & Productions Lead and wider Arts Portfolio team the role will effectively produce an exciting contemporary program focused on the delivery of operational, logistical & production requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver a diverse portfolio of arts and cultural events, including festivals, concerts, art programs, installations and cultural projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes across WFAC and festival sites. Collaborate proactively with the Creative Programs team and wider Arts Portfolio, scoping and delivering projects that are realistic, well-managed and aligned to agreed scope, scale and budgets. Lead end-to-end event production and onsite delivery, coordinating staff, contractors, promoters, creatives and resources to ensure safe, efficient and well-executed events. Oversee technical production outcomes, ensuring effective delivery of sound, lighting, rigging, staging and AV through direct management and delegation to production teams and contractors. Lead and coordinate event teams and workforce operations, providing clear direction to staff, contractors and suppliers while managing delegation, rostering, recruitments, payments and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Manage risk, safety and audience experience leading risk assessments, audience management strategies and proactive issue resolution to ensure positive, safe and accessible events. To be considered for this position, you will need Significant experience in leading roles in event management and managing audiences in large scale live public events – outdoors & indoors, free & ticketed. Strong Project management and people management experience. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams while maintaining a positive work culture. Highly developed stakeholder networks and management capability. Experience liaising with artists, producers and technical teams from across art forms, organisations, negotiating fees and executing contracts.
