The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our growing production team at Holden Hill. This role is ideally suited to someone with a mixed mechanical and electrical assembly background who enjoys precision work, technical problem solving and working with advanced systems in a high-performance manufacturing environment. Working as part of our Assembly team, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, inspection and adjustment of complex electromechanical products to demanding engineering and quality standards. Experience working to MIL-SPEC or other high-reliability manufacturing standards will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical assembly in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly documentation Assemble, inspect, adjust and test electromechanical components and subassemblies Perform precision calibration and testing using specialised equipment Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot assembly or manufacturing issues Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency Maintain accurate production and testing records Assist with workshop organisation, material handling and workstation preparation Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment Adhere to all Work Health & Safety requirements and company procedures About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a technical assembly, electromechanical or advanced manufacturing environment A mechanical or electrical trade background, or equivalent hands-on industry experience Experience with electrical assemblies, wiring, wire harnesses, crimping tools or control systems Experience working within ESD-safe environments and handling electronic assemblies Hands-on soldering experience highly regarded Experience working to MIL-SPEC, IPC, defence, automotive or other high-reliability manufacturing standards highly regarded Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical instructions Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Strong manual dexterity and confidence using precision hand tools and testing equipment A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team Commitment to workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement Why Join Supashock?
