The Role: We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our team at Dry Creek. This is a varied role supporting both warehouse operations and the painting workshop within our advanced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring materials, equipment and workshop areas are maintained to a high standard while assisting the painting team and wider production operations as required. This role would suit someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work and is eager to learn and grow within a high-performing team. What you’ll be doing: Manage and coordinate goods inwards and outwards Accurately complete data entry and inventory records Pick, pack and prepare materials for production when required Support general workshop and maintenance requirements, including: Maintaining equipment (e.g. sandblaster and workshop tools) Cleaning and upkeep of workspaces (floors, windows, spray areas) Assisting with maintaining spray booths and equipment Support the painting team and other teams within the business as required Contribute to efficient day-to-day warehouse and workshop operations About You: Previous experience in a trade assistant/storeperson role within an industrial, automotive or manufacturing environment is desirable Experience working within industrial paint shops or workshop environments will be highly regarded Basic knowledge of industrial painting processes is advantageous Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions Reliable, punctual and proactive with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take initiative Basic computer skills for inventory systems and data entry are essential Forklift licence highly regarded Flexibility to work nightshift highly regarded Why Join Us?
