The Position: Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement of the organisation's financial reporting function. Key responsibilities will include: Leading month-end and year-end financial reporting processes Managing financial accounting, statutory reporting and compliance activities Reviewing tax-related matters and preparing technical accounting papers and memos Driving system enhancements, process improvements and reporting automation initiatives Undertaking detailed financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business Managing and mentoring an Assistant Accountant, overseeing journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and reporting deliverables With strong support from senior leadership, you will be empowered to identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation and reporting quality across the finance function.
