Children’s Soccer Coach – Immediate Start Little Big Sport | Gold Coast & Northern NSW Little Big Sport is the largest private junior soccer coaching provider in the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers, delivering fun soccer programs to over 2,500 children every week. We run engaging soccer programs at childcare centres, kindergartens, schools, and community venues for children aged 2.5–12 years. Our mission is simple: Help young children fall in love with sport while building confidence, coordination and healthy habits in a fun and safe environment. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches who enjoy working with children and being active outdoors. There is a possibility of a Part-time or Full-time role after a probationary period. The Role As a Lead Soccer Coach, you will deliver fun and structured soccer sessions to young children at childcare centres, kindergartens, and after-school programs. You will be responsible for: • Running weekly soccer sessions for 2.5–5 year olds at childcare centres and kindergartens • Assisting with after-school and weekend programs for children aged 2.5–12 years • Following our structured Little Big Sport session plans • Creating a fun and engaging environment for children • Communicating with head office and other coaches • Distributing Little Big Sport merchandise to players This role is perfect for someone who: • Has a sporting background • Enjoys working with young children • Wants flexible work that can fit around university or another job Hours & Pay $30 – $45 per hour super bonus opportunities Typical hours: • Weekday mornings: 9:00am – 12:00pm • Some afternoons and Saturday mornings Between 10 – 25 hours per week available, depending on your availability. We can work around university or other work commitments, but once a schedule is set it must be consistent each week. What We Provide • All equipment and uniforms • Full training in the Little Big Sport coaching programs • Ongoing support from our coaching team • Opportunity to grow into part-time or full-time roles Essential Requirements • Minimum 2 years experience working with young children (2.5–5 years) • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain) • Own reliable vehicle and driver’s licence • Strong communication skills • Enthusiastic and approachable personality • Ability to work independently and use initiative • Previous soccer playing or coaching experience • Full working rights in Australia Desirable • Sports coaching qualification • First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) Important You will be working with very young children, so energy, enthusiasm and the ability to make sessions fun is essential.
