Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Coordinator to join Curtin’s property team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for negotiation, development, and renewal of commercial contracts for a wide range of tenants including retail (F&B), office, specialised research, telecommunications, and sporting organisations. Key Responsibilities: Represent Curtin as landlord and tenant across metropolitan & regional Western Australia. Build strong relationships with, and influence, internal & external stakeholders. Work with the Commercial Manager on leasing, property acquisitions, disposals, and other commercial matters. Work closely with internal & external legal to review and prepare agreements for lease, leases and licences. Evaluate tenant performance from revenue, lease compliance, and operational perspectives, identifying & mitigating landlord risks. Contribute to financial budgets and forecasts, identifying cost saving or revenue opportunities. Prepare high quality documents such as presentations, formal reports, guidelines, processes, and briefing memos. You will also have property management responsibilities and support the team in managing tenants, including where Curtin itself is a tenant. About You: To excel in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in commercial or retail leasing, including contract negotiations and bespoke lease documentation. High-level of commercial acumen, with solid understanding of the commercial risks and financial aspects of a leasing portfolio. Excellent interpersonal and commercial analysis skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders. Proven decision-making, problem-solving, and data-interpretation abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong MS Office and numeracy skills, with an ability to deliver concise and well-presented reports and financial analysis for leadership review. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a team environment and autonomously. Experience with retail fitouts, centre management, or facilities management would be desirable.
