As our business expands, we are looking to bring on a Trade Assistant. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Trade Assistant to support our qualified installers. This role offers an excellent entry point into the renewable energy sector, providing hands-on experience, professional training, and the opportunity to progress within the trade. You will work under the supervision of a qualified electrician, assisting in the installation of solar and battery systems. Qualifications & Experience Hold a valid C class driving license and able to drive a manual vehicle (mandatory) Physically fit and able White Card (mandatory) Working at Heights (mandatory) The willingness to perform any task required for the Job Have a positive and can-do attitude and follow instructions Be prepared to work away from home if and when necessary Tasks & Responsibilities Be a part of a leading team to install solar panels and battery system installations at job site Assist the team with loading/unloading, lifting, installation and transport of job gear Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials on-site Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and other hand-held electric tools Prepare and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency Assist with wiring, cabling, and assembly of system components under supervision Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company installation standards Contribute to a positive and professional team environment Skills & Attributes Genuine interest in renewable energy Strong work ethic with a demonstrated willingness to learn Physically capable and confident Ability to work effectively in a team environment Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused Benefits Competitive salary and regular incentives for hitting or exceeding KPIs A fantastic opportunity to join a driven and reputable solar & battery company Support from an outstanding team, where staff produce excellent results Access to personalised development plans, Gap trainings for the right candidates and great career enhancing opportunities
