About the Role Our Energy & Utilities business is seeking Electrical Trades Assistants with either Substation or Heavy Industrial experience to join us on both brownfield and greenfield construction projects in South Australia. As a successful applicant, you will be working in a small team undertaking hands-on electrical works in high-voltage substation environments, supporting the safe, compliant, and productive delivery of utility-scale projects for TNSPs and DNSPs. The position goes beyond general duties and is focused on specialist substation activities, strict safety controls, and working within EA-driven project environments. These positions are local to Adelaide on a 5/2 roster. Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Operating plant and equipment in green field and brown field environments Excavations, grouting, general duties assisting with any manual tasks Assisting with cable installations and High Voltage Equipment installs Undertaking Rigging, Dogging, or telehandler tasks as required Working safely within live and high-risk environments under permit-to-work systems Working flexible hours including shutdowns, night works, weekend works and roster cycles in line with project requirements and the Enterprise Agreement About You Demonstrated experience in substations, utilities, or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects Confident working in high-risk HV environments with strict safety and compliance requirements Ability to work effectively on EA-covered projects, including shift work, roster cycles, and remote work as required A strong safety mindset and the discipline required for regulated network environments Exceptional communication and time management skills What We Offer Employee benefits including health and wellness initiatives Personalised career development and growth working with an industry leading team.
