The role involves undertaking site investigations, inspections, and reporting to support residential construction projects. You will apply engineering principles to assess site conditions, analyse data, and provide input to civil and structural design outcomes in accordance with relevant standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct site investigations including compaction testing, retaining wall inspections, and geotechnical investigations using mechanical auger equipment Collect soil and site data, assess ground conditions, and contribute to foundation and structural design considerations Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation Apply engineering analysis, calculations, and judgement to support design decisions and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation that inform civil and structural design outcomes Maintain accurate project records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures Coordinate and manage site activities in line with project requirements Monitor and report on site conditions, identifying risks and recommending appropriate engineering solutions Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders regarding site progress, findings, and technical matters Maintain equipment and work vehicles in accordance with company policies Key Essentials Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering Recognised as a Civil Engineer by Engineers Australia Minimum 12 months’ relevant post-qualification experience in a civil engineering role Experience in site investigations, inspections, or engineering input into design outcomes Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply Australian Standards Current unrestricted WA Driver’s Licence Construction White Card How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role via the online application process.
