About the Role Innovative Mining Services is seeking an experienced and highly organised Business Systems & Compliance Manager to support the continued national growth of our engineering and manufacturing operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing business systems, operational processes, compliance frameworks, and cross-functional coordination across the organisation. Working closely with senior management, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational consistency, improving accountability, and supporting scalable business growth across multiple locations. This role includes leadership responsibilities and direct reports, with a strong focus on operational discipline, ISO 9001 compliance, process implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and maintain company ERP, CRM, document control, and operational systems • Develop and implement operational procedures, workflows, and business controls • Drive standardisation and consistency across all business units and branch operations • Maintain and improve the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System • Coordinate audits, corrective actions, compliance reporting, and process reviews • Support process improvement initiatives across manufacturing, procurement, engineering, project delivery, and sales administration • Assist with operational reporting, workflow coordination, and business improvement projects • Support rollout and operational setup of new branches and business units • Coordinate document control, procedures, policies, and operational records • Work closely with senior management to improve accountability, communication, and operational performance • Provide leadership and support to administration and coordination personnel across the business Skills & Experience • Experience in business systems, operations, compliance, or process management roles • Strong experience with ERP and CRM systems • Experience maintaining or implementing ISO 9001 systems • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different departments • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining services, or industrial industries highly regarded • Previous leadership or team management experience advantageous What We Offer • Senior leadership opportunity within a growing national business • Diverse and high-impact responsibilities • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Long-term career growth opportunities • Opportunity to help shape operational systems and governance across the organisation
