Bakery/Café FOH Manager – Prices Fresh Bakery ⏰ Part-time, 30-35 hours per week (including weekend work) Prices Fresh Bakery is looking for a strong, hands-on manager to help lead our team and keep the bakery running smoothly day-to-day. We’re a busy, fast-paced bakery with a loyal customer base, drive-thru service, and a focus on quality food, great customer service, and high standards across the board. We need someone who can confidently manage staff while being approachable, maintain cleanliness and organisation, and help create a positive but accountable workplace culture. The Role This is a hands-on management role, not an office-based position. You’ll be expected to lead by example and work alongside the team during service, including customer service, coffee making, food preparation, cleaning, and general front-of-house duties. You’ll work closely with the owners and also be responsible for helping oversee daily operations including: Managing and directing front-of-house staff by keeping them productive, efficient, on task, and following procedures consistently Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and helping to implement improved cleaning procedures Coaching staff and driving team engagement with promotions, upselling, and new product launches Monitoring customer service and resolving issues professionally Helping with staff training and team communication Opening and/or closing the bakery Helping create a positive team culture Supporting smooth day-to-day operations Monitoring team performance and maintaining accountability around customer service and sales standards We’re Looking For Someone Who: Has flexible availability, including weekends and early starts Has previous management experience in a café, bakery, hospitality venue, or similar fast-paced environment Is confident leading a team and addressing performance issues when needed Has strong customer service skills and leads by example in creating a warm and efficient customer experience Has high standards and strong attention to detail across cleanliness, presentation, and customer service Naturally notices when things need to be cleaned, restocked, organised, or improved Can stay calm and organised under pressure Has strong communication skills and a good work ethic Is approachable and supports a positive working environment Preferred (but not essential) Experience in a bakery or high-volume café Barista experience Experience with staff training Food safety knowledge What We Offer Supportive owners who are actively involved in the business Stable long-term role in a growing bakery Friendly team environment Opportunity to help shape systems and improve operations To apply, please send your resume and a short introduction telling us about your previous management experience.
