Adelaide Institute of Hospitality (AIOH), a division of Career Employment Group Inc, is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across our hospitality training operations. This is a full time, 12-month contract role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with strong vocational education and training (VET) experience to drive compliance, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and organisational growth within a highly respected Registered Training Organisation (RTO). About the Role Reporting to Executive Leadership, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of AIOH operations, ensuring high-quality training delivery, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and positive student and staff outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening industry partnerships, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a high-performing team across training delivery, administration, compliance, and student services. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for AIOH Support business growth, partnerships, and strategic opportunities Represent the organisation at industry functions, stakeholder meetings, and events Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with Standards for RTOs, ASQA requirements, funding contracts, and relevant legislation Oversee quality assurance systems, audits, validation, and continuous improvement activities Ensure training and assessment practices meet industry and regulatory standards Operations Management Manage operational performance across training delivery, student services, compliance, and administration Lead and support coordinators, managers, trainers, and administration teams Monitor student engagement, outcomes, completion rates, and satisfaction Oversee organisational scheduling in partnership with coordinators and managers In consultation with Executive Management, oversee budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and resource allocation Stakeholder & Industry Engagement Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, employers, and stakeholders Attend client sites, onboarding sessions, and stakeholder meetings as required Oversee marketing initiatives, enrolment strategies, and student retention activities Support website updates, social media engagement, and promotional material development About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Proven leadership experience within the VET, education, training, or hospitality sectors Strong knowledge of RTO compliance requirements, ASQA standards, and funded training contracts Experience managing operational and financial performance Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills High-level communication, leadership, and organisational skills Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Why Join Us?
