About the Role: Own end-to-end payroll delivery for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance with legislation, and appropriate payroll controls across all pay cycles Lead the ongoing management and optimisation of Paytools, including maintaining payroll checklists, ensuring consistent system use, managing key payroll dates, and improving automated notifications. Oversee employee data maintenance in the payroll system, ensuring changes such as remuneration and bank details are accurate, authorised, and processed correctly. Act as the primary payroll point of escalation for the business, building strong partnerships with HR, Finance, and operational leaders, and ensuring payroll advice is accurate, timely, and clearly communicated. Lead, mentor, and support the payroll team, providing guidance on complex queries, award interpretation, and best-practice processes. Monitor compliance with taxation, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations, staying updated on relevant changes to legislation.
