You will split your time between managing daily store operations and on the road building relationships with local mechanics, workshops and other commercial trade business. Key Duties & Responsibilities. Trade Account management. Proactively visit local workshops, dealerships and smash repairers to build strong relationships, manage pricing structures and secure repeat trade business. Retail Team Leadership. Manage, mentor and roster in-store counter staff to ensure a high preforming, customer-focused environment. Technical Customer Advice. Provide expert advise to both retail DIY customers and professional trade mechanics. Sales & Margin Growth. Drive strategies to meet and exceed monthly store sales targets while maintaining healthy gross profit margins across both trade and retail sectors. Store Merchandising. Maintain high standards of store presentation, ensuring displays are clean and visually appealing. Financial & POS Administration. End of day cash reconciliation, processing invoices, credits and ensuring compliance with company procedures. WHS Compliance. Ensure the store and vehicles strictly adhere to WHS standards and regulations. Local Marketing & Promotions. Execute promotional campaigns to increase local brand awareness and clear old inventory. Skills & Experience Required. a. Automotive Industry Experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Automotive parts sales (spare parts interpreter, trade counter or similar. b. Leadership Background. Proven experience managing a small team in a retail and Trade distribution environment. c. Sales Drive. A proven track record of meeting sales targets and the confidence to cold call or knock on workshop doors to win new trade business. d. Licence.
