They are currently seeking for a Financial Accountant to join their Fund Services team to help with yearend work. This is a 4-month contract with a start date to the 1st of June. Sitting in a well-established and highly collaborative team, this position will be responsible for reviewing sets of accounts for various funds, as part of financial yearend process. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing sets of accounts for various Funds. Assisting with pre- and post-year-end meetings with administrators, custodians, investment managers, and external auditors. Funds classification (disclosing entities under ASIC guidelines). Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements. Maintaining compliance with accounting standards, ASX listing rules, and other regulatory requirements. Assisting with preparing Audit Committee packs To be successful in this role you will have: Degree in Accounting or Finance; Strong experience in Financial Reporting - preferably from Funds Management sector (superannuation, managed funds); Understanding of how reports are structured; Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse spreadsheets; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; This role will suit technically astute candidates who thrive within a collaborative team environment.
