Together, we can access more. We’re looking for a tenacious HR Generalist to join our Brisbane team as a People & Capability Advisor on a 12 month parental leave contract. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted business partner, delivering practical, operational HR support across the business. You’ll be the person leaders rely on for practical, timely advice across the full employee lifecycle — from employee relations and performance matters through to recruitment, retention, and strategic initiatives. Your work will directly support our teams to perform at their best. What you’ll be doing You’ll partner with stakeholders to deliver end to end employee lifecycle support while building high performing and engaged teams. You’ll provide astute, commercially aware advice — understanding the complexity of the business and offering practical solutions to help leaders grow and develop their people. You'll provide guidance on policies, contracts, enterprise agreements, awards, and employment legislation. You'll support the delivery of Group and Sedgman People & Capability projects and strategic initiatives. You'll coach and support managers on performance planning, reviews, and development processes. What we’re looking for: You’ll bring 5 years’ generalist HR experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the judgement to handle sensitive matters with care. You can work autonomously, take initiative, and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and agreed standards. Why this role?
