We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer to join Brandbank. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the effective administration of payroll services across multiple retail brands and entities in Australia and New Zealand. THE ROLE: End-to-end payroll processing across fortnightly and monthly pay runs for AU, NZ and SG entities Managing payroll compliance obligations including superannuation, STP reporting, child support, paid parental leave and Workcover Processing commencements, terminations, back pays, bonuses and payroll adjustments Validating payroll data and conducting payroll audit checks to ensure accuracy and compliance Managing and maintaining employee payroll information across payroll and time & attendance systems Supporting store and operational teams with payroll, rostering and HumanForce queries Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations and costing reports for Finance and key stakeholders Liaising with external providers and organisations including the ATO, Centrelink and Superannuation Funds Assisting with payroll-related compliance and legislative requirements across multiple awards and jurisdictions On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar end-to-end payroll role within a high-volume, multi-entity environment Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and compliance requirements Experience interpreting Awards and classifications, ideally within retail environments and the Modern Retail Award Exposure to payroll and time & attendance systems, with MicrOpay and HumanForce highly regarded Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused mindset WHY JOIN THE BRANDBANK GROUP TEAM?
