What we are looking for: Due to internal movements, we are looking for a Technical Officer Operations to join our high performing Infrastructure Operations team. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting safe, compliant and effective service delivery by providing technical assurance and advice on transport and stormwater infrastructure matters. What your day will look like: Reviewing designs, scope and project documentation to ensure compliance and identify potential risks Providing technical advice on design review, constructability, costing and programming of capital and operational works Preparing and reviewing technical documentation and monitoring project outcomes Working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and government agencies as necessary Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for improvement Please click here to view a full position description. What you’ll need for success: Experience providing advice on design, constructability, costing and programming across capital and operational works Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation Solid understanding of project financial management principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non technical audiences What’s nice to have: Diploma in construction or project management Experience working in a local government environment We understand that not all candidates will meet every selection criterion.
