Share Senior Program Finance Analyst SA, Mawson Lakes Finance 19188BR Job Highlights This role is responsible for providing high-quality financial support to the Finance & Business Operations Manager across multiple Radars Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Sensors (REAS) programs, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial management. The position plays a key role in supporting end-to-end program finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, while maintaining strong governance over cost allocation, revenue recognition, and forecast integrity. It also involves delivering meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, performance tracking, and risk identification across assigned programs, as well as contributing to program and portfolio-level financial models, reporting frameworks, and broader business planning cycles. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, including variance analysis against forecast and plan. Maintain and reconcile program financial data, ensuring accuracy of cost allocations and reporting outputs. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including stakeholder engagement and assumption gathering. Track program performance metrics such as revenue, cash flow, ROS%, and contract value fluctuations. Prepare customer invoicing inputs, monitor debtor balances, and support cash flow reporting. Develop and maintain reporting models, dashboards, and Excel-based tools for program finance visibility. Support preparation of internal reporting packs including quarterly program reviews and contract status reports. Assist with audits, contract compliance reviews, and financial true-up processes. Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and modelling support to programs and leadership. About you: Qualified or part-qualified CA/CPA with strong financial accounting or program finance experience. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify trends, risks, and anomalies. Strong Excel skills with experience building and maintaining structured financial models and reports. Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to stakeholders. Proactive, curious, and confident in investigating issues and driving corrective action where required. Able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. Understanding of Defence/contract-based financial environments (or similar complex project structures) is advantageous.
