Your responsibilities will include: In this role you are primarily responsible for performing a wide range of activities including inventory control, materials handling, asset management, warehousing and administration based tasks. You will compile records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Manage requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Preparation of inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. About you: To be successful it is essential you demonstrate the following skills and experience: Substantial experience in a warehouse/logistics environment, including monitoring Inventory Control processes, asset management and warehousing. Intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications. Experience using a Material Management Systems (MMS) such as Maximo, MILIS, SAP and MEX. Demonstrated and clear understanding of WHS and security responsibilities and application. Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
