About the Role A coastal Victorian public hospital is seeking a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist for a locum contract of up to 3 months. This role offers a predominantly paediatric outpatient caseload within a supportive rural allied health environment. You’ll work largely independently while receiving support from Allied Health Assistants and the broader multidisciplinary team. Manage a paediatric outpatient caseload (approx. 80%) Treat phonological and language delays, dysphagia and voice disorders Complete some adult outpatient, ward and aged care swallowing assessments Conduct occasional home visits and support onward referrals Skills & Experience SPA membership/eligibility required Grade 2 Speech Pathologist experience Strong paediatric Speech Pathology experience essential Community and/or rural experience highly regarded Ability to work independently as a sole practitioner Current driver’s licence preferred Benefits Up to $70p/h Super Shared accommodation provided Travel reimbursement up to $200 Early Friday finish Strong Allied Health Assistant support Varied paediatric and hospital caseload Life in Coastal Victoria Located along Victoria’s southwest coastline, this region offers beautiful beaches, coastal walks and a relaxed regional lifestyle.
