Position Details Position Title: Graduate Registered Midwife Classification: YS12 Salary per hour: $41.36 superannuation generous salary packaging options Employment Type: 12-monthFixed Term Contract Part-time 64 hours per fortnight Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028 Role description Dhelkaya Health Castlemaine Campus and Bendigo Health are welcoming applications for a shared Registered Midwife Graduate program. The successful applicants will be well supported to work within the caseload model at Castlemaine with a small team of midwives and GPOs, and on the Birth Suite and Women's Ward at Bendigo, rotating to each service for 6 months. You will be supported to consolidate your skills across the scope of practice of midwifery care, providing antenatal clinic appointments and assessments, intrapartum care, postnatal ward care and domiciliary care. You will be supported by experienced midwives, GP obstetricians, Clinical Support Midwives and Clinical Midwife Educators. About you Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery or Bachelor of Midwifery Registration with AHPRA Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member Demonstrated ability to problem solve Effective time management and organisational skills Application Process All applicants must be eligible and registered to participate in the PMCV Allocation and Placement Service (listing Dhelkaya Health/Bendigo Health as one of your preferred hospitals). Applicants must have completed all clinical placements and be eligible for registration with AHPRA prior to commencement of the program. The Graduate Program will start in February 2027 and include an orientation period to both organisations. Referee checks x 2 completed as part of the PMCV GNMP application process Participation in the PMCV video interview between 6th and 9th July 2026 Your application receipt will be acknowledged and an email sent when the ranking process has been completed.
