About the Role Syndeticom in Sydney is seeking a full-time experienced Data Cabling Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure across commercial client sites. Key Responsibilities • Install, terminate and test structured copper and fibre optic cabling systems • Install telecommunications infrastructure including data racks, patch panels, cable trays and ladder racks • Perform cable routing, labelling, dressing and termination in accordance with industry standards • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting of network and communications cabling systems • Install and maintain cabling systems for data, alarm, access control, fire and automation systems • Perform routine maintenance, inspections and infrastructure audits of client sites • Utilise specialised testing equipment to verify signal quality and system performance • Maintain accurate installation, testing and service documentation • Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards • Liaise with clients, suppliers and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard Licenses / Certifications 1. Vendor training Certification desirable. A relevant qualification is highly desirable. Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant industry experience in a similar data cabling or telecommunications role. Salary is between $85000 and $ depending on experience
