On behalf of Poolwerx Balgowlah, we are seeking a skilled Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join their growing team. The successful will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic pool and spa equipment across residential and commercial sites. You will work with modern pool and spa systems, automation technologies, and diagnostic tools to ensure our clients' pools operate safely and efficiently. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Install, configure and maintain electronic pool and spa systems, including pumps, chlorinators, controllers, automation systems, sensors, and heating units Diagnose faults in electronic and electrical components using specialised diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeters, testing devices) Repair or replace defective wiring, circuit boards, sensors, and control units Conduct testing, calibration, and commissioning of pool equipment to ensure optimal performance Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for installation and troubleshooting Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections across client sites Maintain service records, test reports, and equipment logs Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and WHS regulations Manage inventory of electronic parts and equipment required for servicing Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system use and maintenance Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Electronics or Electrotechnology, or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability across electronic systems. Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Experience with automated control systems and sensor-based equipment. High attention to detail and safety awareness. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience within the pool and spa industry. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,000 - $79,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
