Our portfolio includes shopping centres, schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, apartments, townhouses, and other public and private sector developments. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team based in our Rockhampton office. About the Role This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and time requirements. Key Responsibilities Planning, organising, directing and coordinating construction projects from commencement to completion. Interpreting project documentation, specifications, contracts and technical drawings to ensure accurate project delivery. Developing project schedules, resource plans, procurement timelines and work programs. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site personnel to ensure efficient project execution. Monitoring project progress, budgets, material usage and labour allocation to maintain project profitability and timelines. Managing procurement of materials, equipment and subcontracted services in accordance with project requirements. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, certifiers and other stakeholders regarding project progress and delivery matters. Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, WHS requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations. Identifying and resolving construction issues, delays, design discrepancies and operational risks in a timely manner. Conducting site inspections and project reviews to ensure construction quality and compliance with specifications. Preparing project reports, progress updates, cost tracking documentation and completion records. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant project management experience Demonstrated experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects. Strong understanding of construction methodology, project scheduling, budgeting and contract administration. Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
