About the Role The Manager, Engaged Teaching and Learning is responsible for the overall direction, management, activities, content development and delivery and administration of cross-institution engaged teaching and learning programs including UTS Shopfront and UTS SOUL Award. The incumbent identifies and works with appropriate partners, establishes strategic relationships and formalises and monitors dealings between UTS staff, students and community organisations. The incumbent conceptualises and implements new programs in engagement drawing upon global best practice to identify opportunities for academic and external audiences. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: Leading the development and delivery of engaged teaching and learning programs across the institution. Managing programs such as Shopfront and UTS SOUL Award to ensure effective and sustainable operations. Developing and implementing strategies to grow community engagement and student participation initiatives. Building strong partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, universities and industry stakeholders. Overseeing program operations including budgeting, reporting, funding applications and process improvements. Leading and supporting staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $122,640 - $139,674 pa (HEW 8) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
