About the role: Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Johnathan Thurston Academy are seeking a dynamic, delivery and outcome focused program support officer to assist the delivery of JT Academy Programs. As a program support officer, you will be responsible for assisting the planning, coordinating, and execution of the delivery of any JT Academy Programs. The role requires a deep understanding of engagement strategies specific to working with young people. The role also requires establishing and maintain working relationships with key community stakeholders involved in the youth sector. Key Responsibilities: • Support the delivery of the JT Academy Programs. • Ensure familiarity with program content and therapeutic approaches. • Maintain strong working relationships with appropriate departmental staff and community stakeholders to ensure input into planning, implementation, and review of program deliveries. • Tailor program content to suit the individual needs of the participants. • Build strong relationships with participants, their families, and cultural support networks. • Use initiative to solve any issue that could impede on the success of the program. • Work collaboratively as part of a team, including a range of internal and external stakeholders, to achieve positive outcomes for at risk young people and their families. • Undertake record keeping, data and information management tasks on organisational platforms and systems to ensure accountability. Mandatory Requirements : Blue card: this role provides support services to children and young people and therefore will require a valid Blue Card with the organisation. Drivers' license: it is a mandatory requirement for the occupant of this position to hold a driver's license. Staff are required to drive company vehicles as a part of their day-to-day work.
