The Opportunity We are looking for a passionate, creative and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team in Perth. This is an exciting, hands-on role for someone who loves social media, storytelling and bringing brands to life at a local level. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of social media marketing experience. Experience with major social media platforms is essential for this role. As our Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping how our brand is experienced across digital platforms and community touchpoints. You'll work closely with our marketing team to create engaging content, coordinate campaigns, and support a wide range of marketing initiatives - from events and activations through to day-to-day digital activity. This role offers room to be creative, have your ideas heard, and take genuine ownership of our social channels while contributing meaningfully to the broader marketing effort. Key Responsibilities Social Media • Plan, create, schedule and manage engaging content across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. • Develop localised, on-brand social content including copy, imagery, video and short-form content. • Monitor, moderate and respond to social media interactions using a consistent brand tone of voice - creating a community of loyal followers. • Capture photography and video content for social media, testimonials, events and behind-the-scenes brand storytelling. • Track organic performance and provide insights to continuously improve growth, engagement and reach of all social media channels. • Stay up to date with competitor activity and social media trends to bring fresh, creative ideas to the table. Marketing Coordination • Assist with campaign coordination and reporting across email, digital, social and events. • Create, proofread and edit marketing copy for a variety of channels. • Work with our in-house Web Developer to maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance and brand alignment. • Design and schedule email and SMS marketing • Design and coordinate branded promotional materials and merchandise. • Support administrative marketing duties, including asset management, templates and reporting. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency across all channels. • Be available and on-site for events, or brand activations About You Qualifications & Experience • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related discipline. • 1–3 years' experience in a social media, marketing coordinator or similar role, or relevant in-house hands-on experience. • Demonstrated experience creating and managing content across social media platforms. • Experience in creating and editing marketing copy. • Exposure to coordinating or supporting marketing campaigns, events or brand initiatives. Skills & Capabilities • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, imagery and short-form video (Reels, TikToks). • Confidence using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar. • Experience with email platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp) is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
