Female Support Worker 30–55 – Mansfield Park – $38–$40/hr – Regular Hours, One Client Female support worker 30–55 in Adelaide's north‑west (Mansfield Park / surrounding suburbs) We're looking for a mature, emotionally intelligent worker to support a 46‑year‑old woman who lives with Borderline Personality Disorder and is recovering from a stroke. The role 1:1 support in the client's home and community (Mansfield Park, SA) 3–4 hour sessions, 5–7 times per week (flexible across Monday–Sunday) Approx 12–20 hrs/week with one stable client Focus on: ADLs: light personal care, meals, light domestic tasks Mental health support: calm, consistent presence, routines, boundaries Stroke rehab support: safe mobility practice in line with therapy plans Community access: leaving the house, appointments, social activities You'll follow our Structured Living Program each shift: Review progress Reset goals for the week Build one key skill (routine, budgeting, mmobility, social skills, etc.) Gradually expand community activities that matter to her Pay & progression $38–$40/hr casual , depending on experience and fit Part of our tiered Support Worker Pathway (Beginner → Core → Lead) with clear criteria for moving up Paid orientation, supported handover and ongoing check‑ins About you Female support worker (client preference) Ideally 30–55 with strong life experience Experience with mental health (BPD or similar) Minimum 1 year of experience working with mental health conditions, particularly BPD or similar personality disorders Comfortable supporting someone post‑stroke or with neurological conditions Minimum 1 year of experience supporting people post-stroke or with neurological conditions High emotional intelligence, calm under pressure, good boundaries Clear, kind communicator with clients, families and the office Must have NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Cert III or higher in a relevant area (Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, etc.) Current First Aid & CPR Driver licence reliable car Right to work in Australia About I'm Able Support Network We provide in‑home and community‑based support across Adelaide.
