We’re currently seeking an experienced and people-focused Assistant Manager to support the leadership team in delivering exceptional guest experiences across this dynamic, all day venue. About the Role As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring consistent service excellence from breakfast through to late-night cocktail service. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll: Support in driving operational performance and service standards Lead, develop and inspire a diverse team across a multi-service offering (coffee, high tea, bar and lounge) Create a warm, engaging and memorable guest experience in a premium environment Drive floor leadership across varying service styles – from relaxed daytime trade to lively evening service Maintain strong focus on compliance, labour management and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities: Providing excellent customer service Ensuring guest satisfaction through time management and multi-tasking Strong attention to detail through both service and menu knowledge Lead and guide team members, while sharing your knowledge to upskill team members Forecast ahead of large events and ensure stock, staff and venue is prepared Assisting with the scheduling and rostering of employees General stock ordering and stock take/stock control About you You’ll bring the following: Previous experience working within a Supervisory or Assistant Manager position within a hospitality environment Excellent time management Customer serviced focused with the want to learn and strive for excellence Bring a positive mindset and culture to your environment To be successful, you’ll: Hold or willing to obtain a current Approved Managers License Full availability and able to work across a rotating roster of morning, daytime and evening shifts Have minimum 1-2 year previous leadership experience in a busy bar environment On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
