The Citadines St Georges Terrace now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Front Office team as Guest Service Officer. The successful candidate will join a tight-knit, supportive team. In this role you will be responsible for Delivering a warm, professional welcome and providing exceptional front desk service in line with Ascott Welcome standards. Managing guest check-ins, check-outs, room allocations, reservations, and cash handling with accuracy and efficiency. Responding promptly to guest requests and feedback, resolving issues professionally and escalating where required. Coordinating closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness, VIP arrangements, and seamless guest experiences. Maintaining front office standards, completing audits, shift handovers, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and security requirements. To be successful in this role you must have Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and clients. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Sound problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns. A professional presentation and a commitment to grooming, brand standards, and personal conduct. A strong understanding of policies, procedures, and workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
