Westland works is growing! We are a professional crew that works all across WA on local government, mining and rail sites. We are part of the Intelife Group. We are looking for labourers to work out of our Belmont depot to service our client’s sites, which includes local Shires, State Government and private companies. We are currently experiencing a strong growth in our business and need people who are fit and capable to work clearing vacant land, Shire verges, and some residential properties. The work entails using a ride-on mower, or commercial brush cutter to clear land of brush, shrubs, and other vegetation which is a crucial in the prevention of bush fires. We have both full-time and casual roles available for immediate start. Tasks & responsibilities: Operating zero-turn mowers and setting out worksite signage Undertake various labouring duties under supervision or working alone Maintaining verges and land in accordance with fire mitigation standards Ensuring our service is of a high quality and standard Adherence to OSH standards Willingness to work overtime when required Qualifications & experience: Working rights in Australia Valid WA driver’s licence Be well presented, physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen Work early starts Monday to Friday A valid National Police Clearance no more than 3-months old (or willing to obtain one) Possess a White Card (or willing to obtain one) Desired experience Have experience with zero-turn mowers and commercial brush cutters Chain saw ticket Have experience with gardening and reticulation systems First aid Basic worksite traffic management What Intelife can offer you: Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum to reduce the amount of tax you pay Employee Assistance Program Friendly team environment Training opportunities About Intelife: Intelife is a West Australian based Not-for-Profit that provides programs and services to both individuals and businesses.
