About Cyprium Metals Cyprium Metals Limited is an Australian copper company focused on the redevelopment of the Nifty Copper Complex in Western Australia. Nifty is a brownfield copper asset with substantial existing infrastructure and a long operating history. Cyprium is progressing a staged restart at Nifty and is building the team and capability needed to support safe and effective operations. The Opportunity The Project Geologist will support Cyprium Metals’ exploration and resource appraisal activities across the company’s advanced base metal and greenfield projects in Western Australia. This role combines near-mine and remote exploration fieldwork, site team management DD/RC/AC drill program supervision, logging data collection, QAQC, weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting, data interpretation and modelling to advance geological understanding and define resource potential consistent with industry best practice and regulatory frameworks. This role is offered on a 9/5 roster. Key Responsibilities Exploration & Fieldwork Design and implement exploration and resource definition drill programs. Conduct systematic geological mapping, sampling and logging in brownfields and greenfields environments. Collate geological information including lithology, alteration, structural geology and mineralisation characteristics from surface and subsurface data. Data Management & Interpretation Collect, validate, compile and maintain geological datasets, including drillhole, geochemistry, geophysics and spatial data. Analyse and integrate multi-disciplinary data to build geological models and support target generation. Prepare accurate geological cross-sections, maps, lithological and mineralisation models. Reporting & Compliance Produce timely and technically robust reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all geological activities comply with safety, environmental and reporting standards (including JORC/ASX reporting requirements). Contribute to statutory and technical reporting obligations. Deliver quality, actionable geological outputs and insights that support exploration success and resource growth. Ensure all geological data and deliverables meet internal QA/QC standards and external compliance requirements. Teamwork & Leadership Work collaboratively with drilling contractors, field technicians, geoscience teams and external consultants. Provide mentorship and supervision where applicable to graduate geologists and field staff. Safety & Quality Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety during all field and site-based activities. Uphold quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures during sampling and data collection. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of geological experience, with exposure to mining exploration or resource development. Skilled in geological logging, sampling methodologies and drill program logistics. Proficiency with geological software (e.g. Micromine, Leapfrog, QGIS, ArcGIS) and database tools. Demonstrated capability in data interpretation, modelling and reporting. Preferred Experience in Australian mining jurisdictions, especially Western Australia. Competency in JORC/ASX reporting frameworks. Previous exposure to base metal systems. Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable operating in remote field environments and with FIFO/DIDO arrangements.
