We currently export to over 170 countries from our office in Marleston, South Australia. Our talented and dedicated employees are committed to producing the best possible books and online resources to meet the needs of students studying a variety of curricula. On a day-to-day basis, you will: · be working alongside the Head of IT to offer in-house technical support to our staff. · be responsible for the upkeep of all computers, their software and hardware. · under supervision from our Head of IT, asked to look after some parts of our server or assist key customers. · be involved in the release process of our mobile apps. We are interested in hearing from people who have experience with the following: · management of IP networks and network services like DHCP, DNS, and firewalls. · Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects. · Linux servers, docker containers and Linux virtual machine maintenance. · programming; you will be expected to be able to learn new languages on the job, but an understanding of the following would be useful: React, Javascript, Prolog, C, C++, Java, Swift, Ruby, Rails, CSS. · source code version control; please include a link to your personal GitHub or GitLab page in your CV or cover letter if available. We would also like candidates to have: · knowledge of mathematics at tertiary level · the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision for long periods of time to make strict deadlines · attention to detail and commitment to excellence · a professional level of written and spoken English This is an 'in-house' position; due to the nature of the work, it is not possible to work remotely.
