Blaq Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant, award-winning venue located in the heart of the stunning Blue Mountains. We’re looking for experienced section waiters and bartenders who are confident, service-driven, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. These casual roles are integral to delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience, whether on the floor managing a section or behind the bar crafting quality beverages. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Roles & Responsibilities Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests Take full ownership of a restaurant section , ensuring smooth and efficient service Confidently take food and beverage orders, with clear communication to the kitchen and bar Run food and drinks, including tray service, maintaining presentation standards Set, clear, and maintain tables to ensure a clean and service-ready environment For bartenders: prepare and serve beverages to a high standard, including classic cocktails, beer, and wine Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings to guide guest recommendations Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service flow Maintain compliance with RSA and workplace health and safety standards What we’re looking for Minimum 1 year experience as a section waiter or bartender in a fast-paced venue Current RSA (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a section or bar efficiently under pressure High attention to detail and a proactive approach to service A friendly, professional, and motivated attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays If the above sounds exciting to you and you're ready to join a close-knit team with genuine growth potential, then apply now!
