The role Lead from the ground up as you guide the Arboriculture Field Team in caring for the city's trees and green spaces. You will drive efficient, high-quality tree maintenance services that meet service standards and support a safe, healthy urban environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of motivation and enthusiasm, a strong commitment to safe work practices, be a team player, and have good problem-solving abilities will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate details to the coordinator on resources and materials required to deliver operational success. Assist coordinator in creating, implementing, monitoring and reporting on work schedules/programs. Assist coordinator in the prioritization and scheduling of resources & work crews required to undertake programmed and reactive services. Assist with the revision of policies, procedures and guidelines for the service areas. Assist in coaching and training staff, including apprentices, trainees and casuals, to develop work skills and increase efficiency. Maintain a daily record of all work tasks and materials used. Skills & Competencies: Qualifications Certificate III or equivalent in Arboriculture Truck Licence - minimum MR Read the Position Description.
