We are seeking a passionate and communicative Marketing Officer to join our team in a part-time (0.8 FTE), ongoing role , commencing as soon as possible. This is more than just a communications role; it is a meaningful opportunity to shape how our College’s vision and Christian ethos are experienced, strengthening connection, belonging, and community for every family we serve. This role offers flexibility based on the successful applicant’s skills and experience. Applicants with strengths in Community Relations, Promotion, Publications, or Events are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Include: Attend College functions and engage with the community to build loyalty, enthusiasm, and a positive spirit among them. Develop and implement marketing and communication initiatives that promote the College’s vision, mission, and Christian ethos across digital, print, social media, video, website, and advertising platforms. Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, churches, parents, and the wider community to support College promotion and engagement. Assist in the production of newsletters, handbooks, orientation materials, and other internal and external publications to maintain a consistent College image. Manage and assist in the promotion and support of College events and community functions, liaising with staff and external providers as required. Selection Criteria: Essential : Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College’s Christian life and aligning with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives. Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with experience supporting digital marketing and online communication activities. Understanding of digital platforms, social media, and digital advertising, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and brand-aligned content creation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences. Organised and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines within a school community environment. Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and Department of Education Criminal History Clearance. Desirable : (Include where appropriate in your response) Prior experience in a Christian school environment in a similar role.
